How Can I Get Meals?
Our weekly residencies in Harrogate and Wakefield happens every Monday outside Astar Muscle & Fitness (WF2 7RE) & Tuesday outside HG3Sweat (HG3 1DP).
Collections are from 3pm-7pm, all you must do is place your order online at least 24 hours before your collection day.
Keep an eye on our socials on the day you’re collecting, sometimes we’re early so will post when we are ready for you to collect!
Do I Need To Be A Member Of Astart Muscle & Fitness or HG3 Sweat To Buy Your Meals?
Absolutely not – although we have lots of Astar & HG3 members on the kcal hype, most of our customers are just Wakefield and Harrogate locals on the pursuit of a healthier, more convenient life! Our truck parks outside, simply park in the car park and head to the hatch to collect.
Why Are We Collecting Meals From A Truck?
The truck allows us to expand into new areas without having to open multiple shops/facilities. One truck has four residencies per week, Monday – Thursday. You’ve probably noticed by now we are very reasonably priced – the truck is the key to keeping the business more streamlined and to control our overheads – therefore getting meals into your hands for less £££.
Are The Meals Made In The Truck?
Good question, but no. We have a production facility (5* may I add) in Leeds where all meals are prepared. The truck has lots of fridges which allows us to store your meals until you collect them. The only food prep done inside the truck is when we cater for events (yes we do events too – get in touch if you know of an event we should cater for)!
Are My Meals Prepared on The Same Day I collect them?
Yes - The same day! There’s no messing around at our production facility! The team start at 6am cooking and chilling all the food, before the assembly team comes in to weigh and prepare all the meals booked in for that day. Once prepared, they’re loaded into the truck and brought to Wakefield or Harrogate ready for you to collect in the afternoon!
How Much Are The Meals?
The price of our meals varies dependant on two main factors, size/protein amount being the biggest one, meal choice being the other. The average customer pays us £5.50 per meal – less than a subway for a truly tasty, healthy meal. Running an efficient and streamlined business is one of our main priorities – this allows us to keep our prices affordable!
Is The Menu Always The Same?
The menu changes weekly – so you’ll never get bored. We have lots of customers who are particularly obsessed with certain meals, so we’ll always make sure the most popular meals are represented on each weekly menu, but we rotate other meals in and out to maintain variety!
Do You Offer Anything Sweet To Satisfy An Evening Sweet Tooth?
Yes! Our overnight oats and protein cheesecakes are EXTREMELY popular – developed for our coffee shop in Leeds, we make sure they’re available to collect with your meal orders!
Do You Offer Local Delivery In Your Set Locations?
Yes we do. For each residency, we bring 2 members of staff. 1 staff member stays in the truck to handle all the customer collections while the other staff member heads out to deliver all of the local deliveries booked. The radius for both Wakefield and Harrogate is 6 mile from truck collection point.
